Alimony from military personnel can be collected from all payments - Ministry of Justice
Kyiv • UNN
The state will collect alimony from all payments to military personnel, including salary and additional remuneration of 100,000 UAH. The amount of alimony depends on the number of children and may be changed by a court decision, the Ministry of Justice explained.

Defenders of Ukraine must fulfill parental responsibilities on par with other citizens. If they evade the obligation of financial support of minors, the state may collect deductions for the benefit of children from all possible payments received by servicemen. This clarification was published by the Ministry of Justice, reports UNN.
Alimony is withheld from all types of monetary support of a serviceman, in particular from the official salary, salary for military rank, monthly allowances, surcharges, rewards, as well as from an additional reward in the amount of 100 thousand UAH.
Details
If the amount of alimony is determined by the court, it is a quarter of income for one child, a third for two and a half for three or more children. At the same time, the amount cannot exceed ten subsistence minimums for each child.
Depending on the age of the child, minimum and maximum limits are set. Thus, up to six years, the minimum amount of alimony is UAH 1281.5, the maximum is UAH 25,630. For children aged 6 to 18, these amounts are respectively UAH 1598 and UAH 31,960.
In the event of a change in circumstances - financial situation, family status or health of the payer or recipient of alimony - it is possible to adjust the amount of payments. This can be both an increase and a decrease in the amount, as well as a change in the method of collection: for example, the transition from a fixed amount to a share of income or vice versa. Such changes are оформлюються by agreement or through the court.
If a serviceman does not pay alimony voluntarily, it is necessary to apply to the court and obtain a court order for the recovery of alimony. After that, the order must be sent for execution to the military unit in which the payer serves.
Let us remind
During the martial law, Ukrainians began to pay alimony more actively, which is associated with the possibility of deferring mobilization. As a result, there is an increase in conscientious payment of alimony by 30% compared to last year.
