As the National Police indicated, Russian troops attacked Sumy with drones this morning. "As a result of two UAV strikes, a kindergarten building was damaged, and a fire broke out at the scene," the police noted.
The body of a woman was discovered at the site of the Russian UAV strikes in Sumy. The deceased was a security guard at the preschool. Children were not attending the facility. Two wounded individuals were also hospitalized from the strike site. Medics are providing them with the necessary assistance
The head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, clarified that "the body of a deceased person was found under the rubble of the kindergarten building in Sumy, which the enemy hit with 2 Geran-2 type UAV strikes." "Two female employees, aged 52 and 53, are known to be injured. One of the victims is in the hospital in moderate condition. The other was examined and provided with medical assistance in an inpatient setting," Kryvosheyenko stated on social media.
According to him, there is damage to nearby residential buildings: windows and balcony frames have been blown out.
