The command of the "Skelya" regiment announced cooperation with the SBI regarding cases of cruel treatment. The unit emphasized zero tolerance for violence and the conduct of internal investigations.
The command of the 425th separate assault regiment "Skelya" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced cooperation with the State Bureau of Investigation regarding the cruel treatment of servicemen in the unit, which they called "negative events." The regiment's press service reported this, according to UNN.
Details
The regiment noted that information about the negative events that took place in the unit "is being attempted to be used for their own, far from noble purposes, by representatives of political forces, public organizations, bloggers, and some media outlets."
We want to note: our position is uncompromising - there is and cannot be a place for negative manifestations in the Ukrainian military. No combat merits, ranks, or positions can justify the humiliation of human dignity, violence, or abuse of power
The unit's press service added that such incidents in the regiment are not tolerated and are not covered up.
Every specific fact must be thoroughly verified, the guilty must be identified and brought to justice in accordance with the law
At the same time, the regiment's press service called on the public "not to speculate on negativity and not to interfere with doing their job - destroying and driving the enemy from the territory of Ukraine."
Today we are actively cooperating with the State Bureau of Investigation and providing all necessary assistance to the investigation. We: the command, the personnel of the regiment - are more interested than anyone else in eradicating negative phenomena. In parallel, internal inspections are being conducted, control over the actions of commanders at all levels is being strengthened, and mechanisms for responding to appeals from servicemen are being improved. Our task is to do everything to ensure that such cases do not recur in the future

The State Bureau of Investigation reported that two servicemen of the "Skelya" regiment have been notified of suspicion for cruel treatment of their comrades.
