As of May 27, citizens have declared 21,000 units of weapons and more than 12 million rounds of ammunition. An additional 455 units of weapons were surrendered voluntarily.

As of May 27, 21,000 units of firearms and over 12 million rounds of ammunition have been declared in Ukraine. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, according to UNN.
Details
According to the National Police, as of May 27, 21,005 units of firearms and 12,231,594 units of ammunition have been declared in Ukraine.
Additionally, citizens voluntarily surrendered 455 units of firearms and 80,785 units of ammunition.
The National Police also reminded citizens what to do if they find firearms and ammunition:
- report the find by calling 102;
- within 24 hours, arrive at the police station to declare the weapon;
- declare and keep the weapon for yourself or surrender it to the police.
Documents required for declaring a weapon:
- written application;
- passport;
- photo sized 3.5 by 4.5 cm;
- extract of place of residence;
- identification code.

Law enforcement officers conducted a large-scale special operation to counter illicit arms trafficking, during which they carried out over 180 searches in various regions of Ukraine.
