President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported the return of 198 Ukrainians from Russian captivity. The exchange took place on Monday.

Ukraine has returned another 189 Ukrainians from Russian captivity, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Monday, according to UNN.

The return of our people from Russian captivity is always very good news for each of us. And today is one of those days: our team managed to bring 189 Ukrainians home

According to him, they managed to return the defenders of "Azovstal" and Mariupol, Chornobyl NPP, Snake Island, from various directions of the front. Among them are soldiers, sergeants, officers. These are National Guardsmen, including "Azov" members, border guards, territorial defense forces, and Navy and Armed Forces soldiers.

Two civilians who were captured in Mariupol were also released from captivity.
