Epiphanius named the scenario for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine: it will happen as in Syria
Kyiv • UNN
Metropolitan Epiphanius believes that the Russian army will voluntarily leave Ukraine, as it happened in Syria. He is convinced that the Lord will create conditions when the Russian Federation will deal with internal problems.

The end of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine will be similar to what happened in Syria - the Russian army will be forced to voluntarily leave the territory of our state. This opinion was expressed by the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU), Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Epiphanius, reports UNN.
Details
According to him, in Syria, "it so happened that the leader was forced to leave that state."
The Lord will create the appropriate conditions, and the enemy will be forced to voluntarily leave our Ukrainian land. ... I am convinced that something will happen in Russia, when they will have no business with us. They will be forced to resolve their internal affairs, and therefore they will leave our Ukrainian territory.
At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine currently does not have enough strength to liberate the occupied territories.
We must understand that the Lord helps and assists us. We stopped the invasion of this Russian horde. There were several times fewer of us, but we are resisting such great evil. The Lord helps us. I am convinced that the Lord will create the appropriate conditions.
He also expressed confidence that the Lord will create appropriate conditions when the whole world will be "forced to defeat this evil."
