There were 162 combat engagements in the frontline, with the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovsk sector (52). The enemy launched 37 air strikes and fired over 5100 times at Ukrainian positions.
162 combat engagements took place on the frontline yesterday, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a morning summary, UNN reports.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched 37 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and localities, including 48 KABs. In addition, they fired over 5100 times at the positions of our troops and localities, 222 of which were from MLRS, and used over 1900 drones.
Yesterday, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit the area of concentration of personnel and weapons, a command center and an enemy air defense facility.

In the area of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv sector, two enemy assaults on the positions of our defenders took place over the past day.
Five occupants' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector. Defense forces repelled the enemy's offensive near Petropavlivka and Lozova.
The enemy attacked 20 times with the support of attack and bomber aircraft on the Lyman direction. The enemy concentrated its main offensive efforts in the areas of Pershotravneve, Novoyehorivka, Nadiya, Terny, Torske, Zarichne, Dibrova and in the Serebryansky forest.
In the Siversky sector, the enemy attacked four times near Bilohorivka and in the direction of Vyymka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked five times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Bila Hora and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out ten attacks near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and Diliyivka, actively using bombers.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 52 aggressor attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Vozdvyzhenka, Lysivka, Dachsne, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Novoyelizavetivka, Novovasylivka and Vovkove.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slovianka, Dachne and Kurakhove.
With the support of aviation on the Vremivsky direction, the enemy launched 17 attacks on our positions near Kostiantynopolske, Rozlyv, Novyi Komar and Novodarivka.
In the Hulyaypilsky direction, the enemy tried to advance once in the area of Bilohirya, to no avail.
On the Prydniprovsky direction, Russian invaders attacked our positions three times. We received a tough rebuff and suffered losses.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
"The operation in the Kursk region continues, the aggressor carried out 23 air strikes over the day, dropping 27 KABs on Russia. Ukrainian defenders repelled 22 attacks by the occupation forces," the report says.
Our soldiers, the General Staff noted, are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
