15 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine burned down: six Odesa residents detained

Six Odesa residents aged 18 to 23 set fire to 15 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the order of Russian special services. The suspects were served a notice of suspicion and a custody was chosen as a measure of restraint.
In Odesa, 6 local residents who burned 15 vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the order of Russian special services have been exposed. This was reported on Monday by the Prosecutor General's Office, UNN reports.

According to the investigation, in one of the Telegram channels, a representative of the Russian Federation offered the suspects to earn extra money, to which they agreed. At the request of the Russian curator, they were to set fire to military vehicles in Odesa.
The suspects drove around the city at night and tried to identify parking lots for AFU vehicles. After agreeing on the coordinates and targets for arson with a representative of the Russian Federation, they received an "order" to destroy them.
They filmed the vehicle fire and sent it to the "customer", after which they received money. The enemy used the footage to create a false information pretext for Russian propaganda media resources about the activities of the anti-Ukrainian underground in Odesa
It has been established that between June and July 2024, the offenders set fire to fifteen vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The suspects are six residents of Odesa, the oldest of the group is 23 years old, the youngest member is 18. During the searches, mobile phones, bottles of incendiary mixture and bank cards where money was transferred were seized from them.
They were served with a notice of suspicion of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the special period (Article 28(2), Article 114-1(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
The court granted the prosecution's motion and the suspects were chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.
The investigation is ongoing, the issues of additional qualification of criminal actions and identification of possible accomplices are being resolved.
