Bohodukhiv

Bohodukhiv is a city in the Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine, located on the right bank of the Merla River. The city covers an area of 16.23 km², and its population, estimated in 2022, is approximately 14,624 people. Founded in 1662 as a sloboda, Bohodukhiv has a rich history. Its development has always been closely linked to its advantageous geographical location on an important route connecting Kharkiv and Okhtyrka, and today the city is the administrative center of the Bohodukhiv Raion and the Bohodukhiv urban hromada.
