Yoav Gallant
Former Minister of Defense of Israel
Yoav Gallant was born on November 8, 1958, in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. He was educated at the University of Haifa, specializing in Economics and Financial Management.
Throughout his career, he held important military and government positions, including Commander of the Southern Command, Minister of Construction, Minister of Aliyah and Integration, and Minister of Education. He is currently the former Minister of Defense of Israel and resigned from the Knesset in January 2025.
