The Cabinet of Ministers has temporarily assigned the duties of the head of the National Police to the first deputy Maksym Tsutskiridze. He holds the rank of police general of the 2nd rank and is a doctor of legal sciences.
The government restored the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, headed by Taras Vysotskyi. Also created was the Ministry for Communities, Territories and IDPs, headed by Vitaliy Bezgin.
Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky instructed ministries to submit proposals to the Government Action Program within 7 days. The program will be approved within a month and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
Prime Minister Koretsky announced the appointment of Yevhenii Khmara as acting Minister of Defense and Andrii Sybiha as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also, the reorganization of the ministry structure has been initiated.
The government plans to consider personnel issues, including the appointment of acting ministers of defense and foreign affairs. Andrii Sybiha is proposed as acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Yevhen Khmara as acting Minister of Defense.
New Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, in his first international conversation with the IMF, discussed a tranche of $690 million. The parties agreed to coordinate steps for financing Ukraine's 2027 budget.
