The Zhytomyr region came under a Russian attack overnight, with fires breaking out at a critical infrastructure facility and at one of the private enterprises, Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Head Vitaliy Bunechko and the regional State Emergency Service Department reported on Friday, according to UNN.
The Zhytomyr region was again hit by enemy drones. This time, a critical infrastructure facility and a civilian enterprise were affected by the shelling. According to preliminary information, there were no deaths or injuries as a result of the enemy strikes
The regional State Emergency Service Department said that "as a result of the enemy attack, fires broke out at a critical infrastructure facility and at one of the private enterprises. Dry grass also caught fire."
The rescuers, it was reported, promptly extinguished all the fires. At the sites of the enemy shelling, State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians surveyed the area for explosive objects.
