Zelenskyy: Russian ballistic missiles were not shot down due to insufficient supplies of interceptor missiles

The President reported 11 dead and 60 wounded as a result of the night attack by the Russian Federation. He noted that due to insufficient supplies of interceptor missiles, it was not possible to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to another massive night attack by the russian federation, pointing to problems with shooting down russian ballistic missiles amid insufficient supplies of interceptor missiles, reports UNN.

"This night, Kyiv was under a massive russian strike. russia launched 68 missiles and another 351 attack drones. The aftermath is currently being liquidated. Damage has been recorded at more than 10 locations in the city, including residential buildings. All necessary services are working on the ground, doing their utmost to save people and provide assistance to everyone in need," the President noted on social media.
According to him, as of now, 64 people have been rescued, including two children. "As of now, it is known that, unfortunately, 11 people died as a result of this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. About 60 more people were injured," he stated.
"In Kyiv region, 16 people were injured, three people died. My condolences to their families and loved ones. In Vyshneve, a fire is ongoing at the site of the missile strike. Evacuation of people from the private sector is underway. More than 400 rescuers and police officers are involved in liquidating the consequences of the attack," the President wrote.
Our warriors showed good results today in shooting down drones and cruise missiles, but, unfortunately, not against russian ballistic missiles. And the reason is precisely the insufficient supplies of interceptor missiles. It is very important that the world, primarily America and our European partners, emerge from the NATO summit in Ankara with strong decisions to support our protection of the sky, and therefore, the protection of the lives of ordinary people. As long as missiles for 'Patriots' remain in the warehouses of allies, it only encourages russia to continue 'winning' against residential buildings.
