Zelenskyy on mobilization: there are things that need to be settled

The President said that it is necessary to adjust the norms of the law on mobilization if they are not supported by society and the military. According to him, some issues of mobilization need to be settled.
Commenting on the mobilization, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there are things that need to be settled and spoke about the law on strengthening mobilization, noting that if certain provisions of the law are not supported by society and representatives of the army, some things need to be slightly adjusted. He said this in an interview with Suspilne on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian Radio, reports UNN.

When asked how he assesses the effect of the law on increased mobilization, Zelenskyy replied: "In different ways, there are different sides of this law.
You know, life and paper... Although this is probably not the right way to talk about laws, the reality is a little different. Laws exist to live by the rules. But if certain legislative norms are not supported by society, especially by representatives of the army, some things need to be adjusted a little bit
The President said that according to the reports on mobilization, there are things that need to be settled, and there are things that are going on as planned.
"According to the reports of the Commander-in-Chief, the Chief of the General Staff, the Minister of Defense, the people who report to me at the Headquarters on mobilization, there are things that they have to resolve, and there are things that are going on as planned," Zelensky said.

During a press conference on the activities of the Temporary Investigation Commission on Military Problems, MP Anna Skorokhod stated that doctors of military medical commissions are instructed to recognize men liable for military service as fit for military service. Also, according to her, there are cases when the MCCs form lists according to which certain people are not served with calls.
Skorokhod also stated that there are cases in the Defense Forces where soldiers who are supposedly on the front line pay their commanders to avoid being on the "zero", as well as cases where soldiers pay to go on vacation or undergo a VLC, and there is a problem with abuse in receiving medals.
