Zelenskyy was invited by the leaders of the US Senate factions Charles Schumer (Democrats) and Mitch McConnell (Republicans).
The President of Ukraine is also scheduled to meet with House Speaker Mike Johnson.
As Russia escalates its missile and drone strikes against Ukraine, the leaders will discuss Ukraine's immediate needs and the vital importance of continued U.S. support at this critical time,White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
