Zelenskyy discussed Ukraine's EU accession and preparations for opening clusters with António Costa. A prisoner exchange in a 1000-for-1000 format was also announced.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with the President of the European Council António Costa. The parties discussed joint work for the further European integration of Ukraine. Zelenskyy reported this on Telegram, UNN reports.

I spoke with the President of the European Council António Costa. I am grateful for the greetings to Ukrainians and Ukraine on Europe Day and grateful for all of Europe's support for Ukraine during our defense in the full-scale war
He emphasized that Ukraine will protect its independence and the right of our people to choose their own path.
By doing so, we will also protect the right of all European nations to live as they themselves wish. Russia will not succeed in breaking Europe and splitting it: there have been many attempts, but none have worked. And they will not work. We discussed with António our joint work for the further European integration of Ukraine: Ukraine will be a full member of the European Union. We are preparing for the opening of clusters and further decisions. We also discussed recent steps in diplomacy and our agreement, mediated by America, to conduct a prisoner exchange with Russia in a 1000-for-1000 format
