The Head of State thanked Mark Rutte for his personal support and assistance to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

Zelenskyy informed about the consequences of Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities. The leaders discussed the protection of Ukrainian citizens from Russian ballistic missiles and the urgent need for the supply of missiles to air defense systems.

"Tomorrow we will talk with President Trump about various issues, including this one. The most important thing now is to find a way to get as many missiles for Patriot systems as possible as quickly as possible. Of course, we see and feel Russia's weakness. But that is not enough. We need more pressure, more anti-ballistic missiles, and more sanctions against Russia," the Head of State noted.

The President and the NATO Secretary General discussed additional contributions from Alliance member countries to the PURL program and efforts to create an Anti-Ballistic Missile Coalition. The leaders agreed on steps that will help strengthen capabilities to counter ballistic missiles.

Rutte noted the successes of Ukrainian soldiers on the battlefield, who are inflicting heavy losses on Russia in manpower, and the results of long-range sanctions.

"What we have observed over the past few months, what you are doing, is truly impressive. You are successfully striking Russian energy infrastructure, Russian defense infrastructure deep inside Russia. Now their advance has significantly slowed down. You have become much more successful directly on the front line as well," he noted.

In addition, they discussed joint weapons production and strengthening defense cooperation between Ukraine and NATO countries.

Zelenskyy and Rutte agreed to cooperate promptly on all issues discussed during the meeting.
