During his working visit to Kirovohrad region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with participants of the second stage of the regional educational conference “August 2024”. The parties discussed the creation of a security infrastructure for educational institutions, the need for school buses, and the implementation of school catering reform. The President also instructed Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi to find a solution to provide shelters for educational institutions in regions that do not belong to the frontline and border regions, UNN reports .

According to the report, Zelensky stressed that state and local authorities pay much attention to organizing offline education, and one of the most pressing issues is the creation of security infrastructure for educational institutions.

In particular, Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi to find a solution to provide shelters for educational institutions in regions that are not frontline and border regions. It is also necessary to address the need for school buses, in particular to compensate for the resources that were transferred to the frontline.
