“You have to do something else with beautiful girls”: The UAF reacted to the sexist statements of the president of “Ingulets”

The Department of Women's and Girls' Football of the Ukrainian Football Association reacted to the statement of the President of FC Ingulec, Oleksandr Povoroznyuk, who stated that beautiful girls should do something else, not play football, noting that the mentality that kills a woman's dignity should remain in the past. The department also appealed to the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the UAF, reports UNN.

Recently, Oleksandr Povoroznyuk, in an interview on his YouTube channel, answering the question of when he plans to create a women's team, stated that "there are no plans yet."

Well, I don't know. It's not for me. I don't understand women's football. There, in addition to beautiful girls, I don't see football. And beautiful girls should do something else, not play football. That's my opinion 

- said Povoroznyuk.

The Department of Women's and Girls' Football of the UAF reacted to the sexist statement of the odious president of Ingulec.

We consider the words of the President of Ingulec, Oleksandr Povoroznyuk, unacceptable. The mentality that kills women's football and a woman's dignity must remain in the past. Football is for everyone

Also, the head of the Women's Football Committee of the UAF, Anastasia Klipachenko, and the football players of the Ukrainian national team sent a statement to the Ethics and Fair Play Committee of the UAF regarding the statements of the President of FC Ingulec
