Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak met with US Assistant Secretary of State James O'Brien to discuss the situation at the front, the status of agreements in the defense sector and the strengthening of sanctions against Russia, the President's Office said on Wednesday, UNN reports.

Yermak met with O'Brien during the latter's visit to Ukraine. The head of the OP reportedly thanked US President Joe Biden and his team, both houses and parties of Congress for helping Ukraine fight Russian aggression, in particular in strengthening its defense capabilities.
Andriy Yermak and James O'Brien discussed the current situation on the battlefield and the status of agreements in the defense sphere between Ukraine and the United States. The Head of the President's Office also emphasized the importance of strengthening sanctions pressure on the aggressor state of Russia
