"We helped a 63-year-old woman from Nevske move to Kharkiv region. Under an agreement with the host community, the Luhansk resident was provided with free housing," said Artem Lysohir, head of the Luhansk RMA. "Yesterday, Russians hit Nevske with cannon artillery. As a result of the hit, two houses caught fire. Fortunately, there was no one in these houses.
According to the RMA, the enemy used the same type of weapon to hit Makiivka. In addition, multiple rocket launchers and drones were used in Makiivka and Nevske.
"The invaders attempted to advance near the above-mentioned settlements and in the Serebryansky forest. All attacks were repelled by our defenders," the statement said.
In the occupied territories, as indicated, "the Russian information campaign is gaining momentum regarding the consequences that local residents will experience if they refuse to give up their Russian passports." "From January 1, 2025, the occupiers will deprive them of the opportunity to receive social benefits as defined by law, and completely close access to free medical care. The invaders also threaten to complicate the employment process as much as possible and increase the tax rate," the RMA said.
"In the absence of a Russian passport, starting next year, Ukrainians in the occupied Luhansk region will be considered by Russians to be persons who are obliged to stay in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the requirements for foreign citizens and stateless persons. That is, to be registered in the migration registry or to have a temporary residence permit or a residence permit," the RMA said.
