In 2025, no increase in the minimum wage is foreseen. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the "Question Hour to the Government" in parliament, UNN reports.

When asked whether an increase in the minimum wage is being considered, Shmyhal replied: "This year's budget does not provide for an increase in the minimum wage; it will remain at the same level as it is now."

In 2024, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko stated that Ukraine does not have the opportunity to raise social standards, so the state budget for next year does not provide for an increase in the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage.
