An increase in the minimum wage is not foreseen in 2025. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the "Question Time to the Government" in parliament, reports UNN.

When asked whether an increase in the minimum wage is being considered, Shmyhal replied: "The budget for this year does not provide for an increase in the minimum wage, it will be left at the same level as it is now."

In 2024, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko stated that Ukraine does not have the ability to increase social standards, therefore, the state budget for next year does not provide for an increase in the subsistence minimum and the minimum wage.
The average salary in the central state bodies of Ukraine in February this year amounted to 51.4 thousand hryvnias, increasing against 44.4 thousand last year. It increased by 15.8%.
