An excursion to the National Operetta of Ukraine will take place in Kyiv, during which visitors will be shown not only the stage, but also the backstage of the theater. It is here that the heroes of famous operettas and musicals come to life, and spectators come for an atmosphere of celebration and inspiration. Participants will learn how a folk house differed from a theater, why Mykola Sadovsky was allowed to rent a building on the outskirts of Kyiv, and where Maria Zankovetska's dressing room was. They will also be told about the first Ukrainian stationary theater, its stars, and two dates of the operetta's founding, as well as its first director. The program includes an introduction to the modern life of the theater, its creative experiments, and development. Visitors will see the stages, the auditorium through the eyes of actors, visit the costume and property workshops, and even be able to examine theatrical costumes.
