Day of the National Police of Ukraine
An official professional holiday celebrated annually on July 4. It was on this day in 2015 on Sophia Square in Kyiv that the first patrol police officers swore allegiance to Ukraine. Today we honor those who daily ensure law and order, safety on the streets, investigate crimes, and help citizens, which is especially important in wartime conditions.
Day of the Forensic Expert of Ukraine
A professional holiday for specialists whose meticulous work helps establish the truth. Forensic experts conduct ballistic, criminalistic, medical, and other examinations that are key evidence in court, including during the documentation and investigation of war crimes.
US Independence Day
The main national holiday of the United States of America. On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted, proclaiming the freedom of the 13 colonies from British rule. For Ukraine, this holiday is also significant today, as the USA remains one of our country's most powerful allies.
International Day of Cooperatives
An official UN holiday celebrated annually on the first Saturday of July (this year falling on the 4th). The purpose of the day is to highlight the contribution of cooperative organizations to solving major problems of economic development, creating jobs, and fighting poverty.
