The Kalynovtsi movement initiates the Belarusian Drone project to provide volunteers with UAVs. The project includes training, design, and production of drones for use at the front.

Belarusian volunteers decided to create the Belarusian Drone project under the auspices of the Kalynovtsi movement. Its main goals include design and production. This was announced by the head of the Belarusian Drone project, Ihor Turtsevich, during a briefing, according to a UNN correspondent.

As long as the Russian aggression against Ukraine has been going on, the issue of unmanned aerial vehicles has been very acute. There are several units in Kalynovskyi's regiment where young, talented guys and girls are destroying the enemy non-stop. Now it has been decided to create the Belarusian Drone project under the auspices of the Kalynovtsy movement. This is a very complex project that requires a lot of effort, a lot of money, time, and energy, all of which are so lacking now, but we will manage,

- Turtsevich said.

He named the main goals of this project:

  • creating a system for providing Belarusian volunteers with UAVs with the support of donors and the United Democratic Forces of Belarus.
  • education and training of specialists in the use of UAVs
  • design and in-house production

We already have the first copies that are working quite successfully at the front, on the demarcation line,

- Turtsevich said.

According to Turtsevych, the purpose of the UAV is also to analyze the effectiveness of UAVs in performing combat missions.

The Kalinovtsy Public Movement was created as an association of representatives of Belarusian democratic forces and Belarusian volunteers for the liberation of Belarus from the collaborationist Lukashenko regime, as well as the restoration of the constitutional order in Belarus after the attack from its territory on February 24, 2022.
