The Secretary of the NSDC warned of fraudulent appeals sent in his name to the Baltic states. Unidentified individuals are using Umerov's name in scam messages and other suspicious communications.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov announced a new wave of fraudulent appeals made in his name to international partners. This was reported by UNN.
Details
According to him, this time the targets included, in particular, the Baltic states.
"Unidentified individuals are using my name in scam messages and other suspicious appeals, attempting to initiate communication or obtain information. I emphasize: all official contacts with partners, requests, or professional communication are carried out exclusively through official channels,"
He asked to treat any suspicious appeals with caution, to verify their authenticity, and in case of receiving such messages or calls, to contact the Staff of the NSDC of Ukraine for clarification and verification.
