Umerov reportedly briefed the Lithuanian delegation in detail on the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine's urgent military needs.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine also noted that Lithuania's leading role in the coalition for demining and the coalition of drones is extremely important for Ukraine's defense.
The letter of intent signed at the end of the talks will give even more momentum to the demining of Ukrainian land.
"The people of Lithuania know the enemy we are fighting very well. I am grateful to Laurinas and his country for their support, which is especially valuable for us," Umerov said.
In recognition of Lithuania's contribution to the defense of Ukraine from the aggressor, Laurinas Kasciunas was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise.
