The Polish president stated that Ukraine's accession to the EU threatens Polish farmers. He promised to defend the interests of Polish producers.
President of Poland Karol Nawrocki stated that Ukraine's accession to the EU poses risks for Polish farmers, so Warsaw will defend the interests of its own producers. Nawrocki stated this during a speech at AgroLiga, reports UNN.

I also acknowledge that a threat to Polish agriculture is, of course, Ukraine's accession to the European Union
He noted that while understanding Ukraine's aspirations for EU membership, he will always stand guard to protect the Polish farmer, Polish agricultural products, particularly in the context of the "Green Deal" and the decisions of the European Union.
