Analysts predict that power cuts in Ukraine may be lifted in early fall. This is due to the expected completion of the heat wave and repairs at power facilities.

In early autumn, Ukraine may cancel blackouts altogether. Analysts expect that by that time, the country will have ended the abnormal heat wave and completed repairs at a number of energy facilities. This was discussed during a discussion at the Ukraine Media Center, UNN reports.

It is noted that under the right conditions, the situation with outages can improve significantly in late summer and in the fall.

In particular, according to Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center, there may be no electricity restrictions at all in September and October.

In his turn, Yuriy Boyko, Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine and member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo, explained what factors could positively affect the situation and improve it in late summer and autumn.

According to the expected weather conditions, August-September should not have the temperature anomalies we have experienced, but there should still be plenty of sunshine, plus the repair campaign for key manufacturers has also crossed the equator. The tendency should already prevail to the point that more manufacturers are coming online than those that are out for repair

- Boyko said.
