The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a pilot project for temporary accommodation and support of IDPs for 2025. The project envisages the provision of social services and employment assistance to IDPs.
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a pilot project for 2025 to temporarily accommodate and support certain categories of people in difficult life circumstances, including internally displaced persons. This was announced by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram, UNN reports.

According to Melnychuk, the government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Social Policy to implement a pilot project for the temporary accommodation and support of certain categories of persons in difficult life circumstances from among internally displaced persons and the provision of certain social services to them between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
The goal of the project is to "develop a mechanism to help people in difficult life circumstances overcome such circumstances by temporarily accommodating and supporting them through the provision of certain social services, and for people of working age among them, by facilitating their employment in cooperation with the State Employment Service.
