As part of its integration with the EU, Ukraine will develop a new draft law on state control over international transfers of strategic goods. This was announced by the Ministry of Economy, UNN reports.
Ukraine is joining the European Union. And our task is to develop a draft law on control over international transfers of of strategic goods, which, firstly, would be maximally integrated into the current European legislation in this area, and would meet international requirements

He noted that the new law should take into account Ukrainian realities and meet the interests of the Ukrainian state, as well as maintain an an acceptable balance of national interests and business interests with international requirements.
Western experts are involved in the work on the new draft law. Western experts are involved in the work on the new draft law. Together with them, representatives of Ukrainian ministries and agencies discussed the content and structure of the new draft law during a roundtable held by the Ministry of Economy.
International experts provided suggestions for optimization of the document to international requirements and expressed their readiness to provide Ukraine to provide appropriate advisory assistance.
In the near future a working group will be set up to develop the draft.
