UAVs in Udmurtia likely attempted to attack an electrical substation

UAVs in Udmurtia likely attempted to attack an electrical substation involved in energy transit with the Kirov region, which provides power to the northern districts of Udmurtia, specifically the Chepetsky Mechanical Plant of the "TVEL" fuel company. This was reported by Russian media, according to UNN.

Details

As reported by Russian "media," following overnight announcements by the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, regarding the threat of drone attacks—initially in the Vavozhsky, Syumsinsky, Seltyinsky, and Uvinsky districts, and later in Glazov, Glazovsky, Igrinsky, Balezinsky, Kezsky, Krasnogorsky, Yukamensky, and Yarsky districts—footage of smoke appeared.

The footage was taken on the territory of the Udmurt poultry farm in the city of Glazov, with smoke rising near the enterprise's grounds. No destruction or casualties were reported. The site where the smoke originated is about 500 meters from the "Zoryana" electrical substation, Russian "media" report.

"Zoryana" is a key 220/110/35 kV substation in Glazov, powered via the 220 kV overhead lines "Balezino – Zoryana" and "Zoryana – Falenki." The substation is involved in energy transit with the Kirov region and provides electricity to the northern districts of Udmurtia, including the Chepetsky Mechanical Plant of the "TVEL" fuel company (part of the "Rosatom" state corporation).
