The nephew of presidential candidate Donald Trump, Fred Trump, called his uncle “atomically insane” and said he would vote for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. He said this in an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, reports UNN.

“Every family has a crazy uncle. My uncle Donald is atomically insane,” he said, presenting his new book, All in the Family: Trump and How We Got Here”.
When asked to explain what he meant, Fred Trump said: “He does things... that make me cringe and say, 'Is this the same guy I knew? What made him change? What made him become this way? But with all that, I've always had a good relationship with him.

Fred Trump, the son of former President Fred Trump's late older brother, who died in 1981 at the age of 42, says he wrote the book in part to advocate for people with severe developmental disabilities, such as his adult son William. The book describes in detail how Trump made racist remarks.
“I was about ten years old, and I was at my grandparents' house, like a lot of people,” Fred Trump said. - “And Donald-I heard him screaming... I went down to the driveway of the house... There was his white El Dorado convertible with two cuts in it... And he used the n-word twice (referring to the offensive naming of black people - ed.), saying who he thought did it.
According to his nephew, Trump is not really a racist, but “uses people, whether they are black or not.

Trump also spoke harshly about people with disabilities while already president, his nephew added.
“These people, they're a waste... They should just die,” Fred Trump quoted his uncle as saying.
He emphasized that he plans to vote for Harris in the presidential election.
Trump's team categorically rejected any accusations against the Republican candidate, calling his nephew's words a lie.
