The president of Ukraine awarded new military ranks to three commanders and one deputy commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among the promoted ones are the heads of the MTR, DSHV, OK Vostok and the deputy commander of the Joint Forces.

In particular, according to Decree No. 831/2024, Brigadier General Trepak Alexander Sergeyevich was awarded the rank of Major General to the commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, by Decree No. 832/2024, the rank of Major General Brigadier General was awarded to the commander of the airborne assault forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Anatolyevich Skibyuk.
In addition, by Decree No. 833/2024, Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Palas received the rank of Brigadier General Colonel.
And also, by Decree No. 834/2024, the rank of Brigadier General Colonel was awarded to the commander of the Operational Command "Vostok" of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Vladimirovich Bratishko.
