Zelenskyy: tragic accident on the highway from Odesa to Mykolaiv has already claimed 12 lives

President Zelenskyy reported 12 dead as a result of a collision between a truck and a minibus on the Mykolaiv-Odesa highway. Six more people were injured.

The number of fatalities from a road accident on the highway from Odesa to Mykolaiv has increased to 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported after a briefing by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko on Saturday, writes UNN.
There was a report from the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko regarding the tragic road accident in the Mykolaiv region. On the Mykolaiv-Odesa highway, a truck and a minibus collided. Unfortunately, as of now, twelve fatalities are known. My condolences to the families and loved ones
According to him, "six people are injured."
All necessary services are working at the scene of the accident: rescuers, police, medics. Law enforcement officers are currently determining all the circumstances of the accident, and identification of the deceased and injured is ongoing, the President stated.

A deadly road accident occurred in the morning on the highway between Odesa and Mykolaiv, a route minibus collided with a truck, initially 9 dead and 8 injured were reported.
