Thunderstorms and hail to cover Kyiv and almost all of Ukraine by the end of the day on June 16

By the end of the day on June 16, thunderstorms with hail will occur in Kyiv and the regions. A yellow level of danger has been declared due to possible disruptions in the operation of enterprises.

In Kyiv and the rest of Ukraine, except for the western regions, thunderstorms, localized hail, and wind squalls are expected until the end of the day on June 16. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, in western Ukraine, except for the Zakarpattia region, wind gusts of 15–20 m/s are forecasted.
Ukrainians have been warned about potential disruptions to the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as transport traffic. In such weather, it is also recommended to be cautious on the streets, especially near trees.
According to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Kyiv will experience thunderstorms, hail, and squalls of 15-20 m/s. A Level I (yellow) danger alert has also been issued.
