Three families with children from the occupied territories arrived in the territory controlled by Ukraine, fleeing threats, persecution and forced Russification of their children by the Russian occupiers.
Three more families with children from Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions have arrived to the government-controlled territory. This was stated by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in his Telegram channel, UNN reports .
Details
It is noted that one family with a three-year-old child lived in Enerhodar, worked at the ZNPP, but refused to cooperate with the occupation authorities. After that, they decided to evacuate to Ukraine due to constant threats and harassment from the occupiers.
In another case, a mother and her 8-year-old son were hiding with their grandparents. The child was studying online at a Ukrainian school, but one day the Russians came to the house with a search. Fortunately, the Russians did not enter the room where the student was studying and had books in Ukrainian laid out. Now the child is in Ukraine and will be able to receive education in his native language without hiding
Instead, a 9-year-old boy from Donetsk region was forced to study in Russian. The schoolboy's mother was forced to send her child "on vacation" to Tatarstan. However, the woman constantly wrote refusals, as she knew about cases when children did not return from such "vacations".
Law enforcement agencies have already talked to the families to establish what crimes the occupiers committed. Also, all those who returned were offered free psychological and medical assistance
