In Uzhhorod, the police are charging a perpetrator who held his wife and child captive with illegal weapons possession; he faces imprisonment. This was reported by the National Police, according to UNN.
Details
It is noted that the detainee is a 37-year-old Uzhhorod resident with a prior criminal record. Currently, in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, he has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigators of the Uzhhorod District Police Department, under the procedural guidance of the District Prosecutor's Office, have qualified the perpetrator's actions under Part 2 of Art. 146 and Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
