Since the beginning of the summer, four children and 18 adults have drowned in the waters of Ukraine's Dnipro region.

Yesterday, on July 8, a 9-year-old boy drowned in Sinelnykivske. In total , since the beginning of summer, four children have died in the water bodies of Dnipropetrovs'k region. And 18 more adults. This was stated by the head of the Dnipropetrovs'k RMA Serhiy Lysak, UNN reports.

According to him, all the communities in the region have decided to ban visits to places of mass recreation on the water. However, people ignore the warning and go swimming in unspecified places.

Since the beginning of summer, four children have died in the region's water bodies. And 18 more adults. Most of them died in Kryvyi Rih district

- Lysak said. 

He also added that rescuers, together with the police, regularly conduct raids. They explain that violation of water safety rules can lead to trouble.
