The Patrol Police provided 6 important recommendations for safe driving in poor visibility conditions:
- avoid risky maneuvers and high-speed driving;
- Slow down when approaching pedestrian crossings and childcare facilities;
- increase the distance between cars;
- If fog lights are installed, turn them on together with the dipped beam;
- always turn on the hazard warning light during a stop;
- use passive safety equipment for both adults and children.
"Pedestrians are advised to be especially careful and cross the road only in designated places," the patrol police emphasized.
