The waiters of a Lviv restaurant are suspected of embezzling more than UAH 200,000 by abusing the customer coupon system.
In Lviv, waiters at a restaurant were suspected of embezzling more than 200 thousand hryvnias from the establishment. To do this, they used a coupon system introduced for restaurant customers, UNN reports with reference to the National Police.

According to law enforcement officers, a 38-year-old resident of Lviv district and a 23-year-old woman from Lviv were caught in the fraud.
Law enforcement officers documented several facts of misappropriation of funds totaling more than UAH 200 thousand.
The investigators served them notices of suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Part 3 of Article 190 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Part 1 of Article 361 (Unauthorized interference with the operation of information (automated), electronic communication, information and communication systems, electronic communication networks) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The maximum penalty facing the suspects is imprisonment for up to five years.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
