The United States will provide Ukraine with $15 billion from frozen Russian assets through the World Bank. The funds will be used for social and humanitarian spending under the PEACE in Ukraine project.
The United States will provide Ukraine with $15 billion in proceeds from frozen Russian assets through the World Bank, the funds will be used for social and humanitarian spending, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Telegram on Monday, UNN reports.

"The United States will provide Ukraine with $15 billion secured by future income from frozen Russian assets. The relevant agreement was signed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and the World Bank," Shmyhal wrote.
According to him, these will be funds from the PEACE in Ukraine project and part of the $20 billion US contribution under the G7 initiative, "which will be used for social and humanitarian spending.
He thanked the United States and the World Bank "for implementing and supporting an initiative that makes Russia pay for its aggression against Ukraine.
