American forces have completed a new wave of strikes against Iran, hitting dozens of facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iran reported a missile hitting a residential building on Qeshm Island.

American military forces have completed a new wave of strikes against Iran, hitting dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets. This was reported by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), writes UNN citing CNN.

CENTCOM stated that the operation was a response to Iran's attempt to attack American troops the day before.

The command did not specify exactly how many targets were hit.
Iran reports strike on residential building
Meanwhile, Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported that American missiles hit a residential building in the Chah Tangu area on Qeshm Island.
According to the broadcaster, a search and rescue operation is underway at the site. The Director General of Crisis Management of the province reported that two children were rescued from the rubble and hospitalized. The search for three more family members continues.
CNN notes that the photos and videos released by IRIB had not previously appeared online, and their analysis confirmed that the footage is new.
