The United States has canceled all valid visas for citizens of South Sudan and restricted their further issuance. The reason is the inability of the government of South Sudan to make a decision on the return of its citizens in a timely manner.

The United States has announced the cancellation of all current visas for citizens of South Sudan and the restriction of their further issuance. This was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on social network X, writes UNN.
I am taking measures to cancel all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders and to restrict their further issuance to prevent entry into the United States of America, effective immediately, due to the Transitional Government of South Sudan's failure to make a timely decision to return its repatriated citizens.
