The US will continue to support NATO, but expects more effort from partners. Secretary of State Rubio stressed the importance of strengthening the capabilities of Alliance members.
During the NATO summit in The Hague in June, the United States will expect greater commitments to the Alliance from its partners. This was reported on social network X by United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio, UNN reports.

According to him, the United States is doing a lot for NATO and will continue to do so. At the same time, the Secretary of State stressed the importance of real support from partners.

In his opinion, other NATO members should strengthen their own capabilities for this.
Firstly, the war in Ukraine, I think, has awakened many people on this continent to real threats, a real war. And the second reason, I think, is the pressure and statements of President Trump to increase spending, which have been quite consistent
He expressed hope that "further and stronger commitments in this direction" will be adopted during the meeting of NATO leaders in The Hague.
