The SBU exposed a Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman who was adjusting the fire of the occupiers on his brothers in arms

Thanks to the efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine, a "mole" of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate, who adjusted missile strikes on his brothers-in-arms from the Armed Forces, received 15 years of imprisonment. This is reported by UNN with reference to the SBU.

Based on the evidence base of the Security Service, another agent of the Russian military intelligence (better known as the GRU), who operated in the Zhytomyr region, received 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property

The traitor turned out to be a man mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces. According to the case files, he adjusted air strikes by Russian invaders on the locations of the military unit where he was undergoing combat training before being sent to the front.

The SBU counterintelligence detained the "mole" in the summer of 2024. At that moment, the traitor was preparing a new agent "report" for the Russian curator.

According to the investigation, the enemy agent was a resident of Donetsk region, who was remotely recruited by a staff member of the Russian military intelligence after mobilization. The traitor came into the enemy's view when he left anti-Ukrainian comments in Telegram channels.

During the search, a mobile phone with evidence of work for the benefit of the aggressor state was seized from the perpetrator.

Based on the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, the court found the agent guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law)

On the border of Sumy region, a "mole" of the Russian GRU was detained, who adjusted enemy fire on units of the Security and Defense Forces in the Kursk region.
