In the evening, Russia once again attacked railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging two locomotives. This was reported by Vice Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, reports UNN.

Today in the evening, Russia once again attacked railway infrastructure in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The most important thing is that the locomotive crews were saved. During the drone threat, the workers were in a shelter, so there were no casualties or injuries

- Kuleba reported.

However, according to him, each such attack leaves behind new destruction and damage for the Ukrainian railway. This time, as a result of the strike by Russian UAVs, two locomotives were damaged.

Since the beginning of the year alone, over 200 locomotives have been destroyed or damaged. The volume of repair work is constantly growing and requires significant financial resources. Because despite systematic strikes, the Ukrainian railway continues to operate, restore damaged infrastructure, and ensure uninterrupted connections between regions

- Kuleba summarized.
