The remains of Colonel Yevhen Konovalets were exhumed at Rotterdam's "Crooswijk" Cemetery. The ashes will be returned to Ukraine and reburied at the National Military Memorial Cemetery.
In Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the remains of Colonel Yevhen Konovalets, the first head of the OUN, were exhumed for return to Ukraine, the Office of the President reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

On the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, organizational matters were handled by Kyrylo Budanov and the team of the Office of the President, Andrii Sybiha and the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Oleksandr Alforov and the team of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.
Yevhen Konovalets's ashes will be returned to Ukraine and reburied at the National Military Memorial Cemetery. The farewell ceremony will take place at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the UGCC in Kyiv. All details will be announced additionally
