According to Honcharenko, MPs cast 323 votes for the draft law as a basis.

According to the MP, it is about increasing the Bureau's staff by 300 detectives in three years: "100 detectives plus annually, starting in 2024."

"UAH 1.7 billion in 3 years," Honcharenko added.

As a reminder, on November 14, the Cabinet of Ministers proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to increase the maximum number of NABU staff from 700 to 1,000.

The European Commission in its enlargement report, which recommended starting EU accession talks with Ukraine, notedthat in order to "cope with the growing workload, it is necessary to increase the number of NABU employees, SAPO prosecutors and judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court".

The United States had previously recommended such a step in the "list of priority reforms" handed over to Ukraine
