Recall

On June 30, an explosion occurred in a residential building in Monaco, which, according to reports, injured three people: Vadym Yermolaiev, his common-law wife, and their 13-year-old son. According to media reports, all three were immediately taken to the hospital.

It was immediately reported that the suspect had fled to France. The Monaco Prosecutor's Office classified this explosion as an attempted murder, not a terrorist act.

Media reported a possible connection between the Yermolaiev family and international networks of fraudulent call centers in Dnipro. This refers to telephone fraud schemes that, according to investigations in various countries, operated under the guise of investment platforms and support services.

Vadym Yermolaiev is the founder of the Alef corporation and one of the most famous developers and industrialists in Ukraine. His business interests include real estate, production of building materials, the agricultural sector, mining, logistics, and the alcohol industry. In 2019, the businessman renounced his Ukrainian citizenship and obtained citizenship of Cyprus.
